The costs of publishing a book Using your books to market your translation services I had never thought of book publishing as a marketing tool before. For me, it was more of a bucket list item and a way of sharing my knowledge. Now I’d encourage anyone who’s been thinking of writing a book to get going! Feel free to check out my own book, ‘The Marketing Cookbook for Translators’, or my two quick start guides to a translator website and a marketing plan. Have a great day!
Carmen Ring is a French-English- Spanish-Romanian translator and interpreter who has worked for various international companies around the world and now owns her own business – see http://www.bestinterpreting.com/. Carmen is also a published author in French and English and she learned how to use her books as a great tool to build credibility, attract new clients and get herself known on new markets. Carmen’s background is Business Administration which she studied via scholarships in different European countries, and this is how she developed her interest in and passion for the translation field, especially applied to the marketing and business world.
