Episode 4: Using LinkedIn to market translation services – Interview with Anne Diamantidis

In this episode I interviewed Anne Diamantidis, a English and German into French in house translator and co-founder of The Alexandria Project. Anne has given several presentations on using LinkedIn for translators and I wanted to see which tips she had for LinkedIn-marketing. I use LinkedIn myself and have some great connections there, plus participate in groups and discussions, but I am sure I can do more.

In this episode we cover the following:

  • How translators can market their services through LinkedIn
  • LinkedIn profile tips and tricks
  • Networking through LinkedIn, plus using groups on LinkedIn
  • How to use the search function to find new clients
  • Whether to use paid advertising on LinkedIn
  • LinkedIn netiquette

Anne also has an upcoming webinar for translators on LinkedIn profile optimization on March 6th. Read more about it here: LinkedIn profile optimization for translators
