This year has been particularly challenging for freelancing parents. Many have had to adjust to children being at home all day, instead of school or preschool, and help them with remote education in many cases.
In this episode I am chatting with a parent and freelance translator in this exact situation. She has also given talks about productivity and time management before Covid-19 happened, and she is the host of the Financial Success Summit.
Important things mentioned in this episode:
- Scheduling tips when working from home with small children
- Productivity tips for parents
- How to carve out time to market your business
- What to focus on as a work-from-home parent

I started out freelancing at home when my children were small, and slowly grew my business as they grew. I can attest that it is not always easy, but well worth it. Many people go into freelancing because they want to spend more time with their children at home – and that’s a wonderful thing. Combining freelancing and parenting will require some planning and adjusting. Moira gave us some great tips here, especially with regard to the pandemic.
