Translators who are connected to a community, who share insights and resources with each other and learn from each other, are often more successful than those who isolate themselves. In this episode I talk to English-Russian translator Dmitry Kornyukhov. Dmitry is the founder of a new translator  community, The Open Mic.

Dmiry Kornykhov is an English-Russian translator and video game localization specialist from Toronto, Canada. He’s been translating since 2010 and has worked on over 50 indie game titles. He also founded The Open Mic – the first blogging platform and community for professional translators and interpreters.
