03/16/2020In this episode I answer some of your questions again and the main focus is what you need to invest in, how to stop being a learning or investment junkie and take action, and how to start earning money.
The question I got was from a disillusioned translator wondering if the translator profession really exist.

- Where to get experience and your first jobs
- How to develop a freelance and success mindset
Useful links mentioned in this episode:

- Tips to find your first translation jobs
Being a freelance translator is a viable career and there are hundreds of thousands of freelance translators working full time and making a decent living. It is not a hoax, and definitely not a get-rich quick scheme.
It requires hard work and some investments in the beginning, but if you are good at translating, and consistent with your marketing and not giving up, I promise you that you can also become a successful freelance translator.

Hi Tess!
First, I hope you and your family are okay.
Thank you so much for dedicating this podcast to me, by replying to my long email!
I really appreciate your commitment, and thank you for all the useful advices, insights, etc.
I even more appreciate that you personally respond to those who ask you for help.
Whenever I have time, I listen to your podcasts, and I have to apologize because I delayed so much to listen to this episode, dedicated to me! Thank you also for your positive words and your willingness to cheer me up…
You are very clear, I mean you explain everything in a clear and simple way, and bluntly. I like that very much! Can I write you an email and send you my CV – just for your advice – since in the podcast you tell me to feel free to do so?
Thanks again Tess for everything you do for us! Big hug!
Rosy
