Six Months Into the Pandemic: What’s Changed and What Freelance Translators Can Do
09/28/2020Episode 259: Content Marketing for Translators – Interview with Matt Baird
10/12/2020A lot of things can happen in 6 months. That’s something most of us have learned this year. As businesses adapt to the stark realities of the COVID-19 pandemic and social changes, online networking for freelancers has also changed. Many businesses have had to drastically change the way they work and network, and some of these changes might become permanent.
In this episode, I am interviewing a fellow freelance translator about these changes and how we can best network and keep in touch with clients and prospects during the pandemic.
Important things mentioned in this episode:
- How we can best network with potential clients and colleagues during the pandemic
- What changes we should implement when it comes to networking
- How to find translation projects right now
- Where to be active online, and how
- Creating word of mouth referrals
