Episode 100: The Marketing Tips for Translators podcast – Looking Back and Going Forward Welcome to the 100th episode of Marketing Tips for Translators! My original plan back in January 2014 was to make 100 episodes, but after such positive feedback and the continued support of my sponsors, I am looking forward to producing even more. In the first episode (marketingtipsfortranslators.com/episode-001) I talked about my goals for the podcast, and I’m happy to say I think I’ve achieved them!

The 5 most downloaded episodes during the first year were:
1. Episode 3: Getting started as a translator with Corinne McKay
2. Episode 2: CV tips for translators with Marta Stelmaszak
3. Episode 4: LinkedIn for translators with Anne Diamantidis
4. Episode 9: Negotiation tips for translators with Konstantin Kisin
5. Episode 17: Marketing to direct clients you cannot meet with Joanne Archambault

And these were the most downloaded episodes during the second year of the podcast:
1. Episode 62: Mastering language learning for translators – Interview with Luca Lampariello
2. Episode 55: The invisible toolkit for translators – Interview with Andrew Morris
3. Episode 75: How to manage your translation projects – Interview with Nancy Matis
4. Episode 86: How to quadruple your hourly rate – Interview with Maryam Abdi
5. Episode 48: Three ingredients to becoming a world-class translator – Interview with Kevin Hendzel

Please keep on sharing your favorite episodes, and let me know if there’s anything you’d like to hear about – or anyone you’d like to hear from – in future podcasts. You can email me at tess@marketingtipsfortranslators.com, or leave your request as a comment in the show notes.

Thanks again to all the listeners who have made the first 100 episodes possible and the next 100 such an exciting prospect for me. If you enjoy Marketing Tips for Translators, I would really appreciate an honest review from you on iTunes. Thanks also to all the sponsors who have helped me meet the costs involved in making the podcast. If anyone else is interested in sponsoring the show, please feel free to get in touch. I look forward to hearing everyone’s input, and in the meantime, take care, and here’s to your success!

To quickly leave a review, open up iTunes and search for Marketing Tips for Translators and then leave a rating and review as shown below. You can do this via mobile as well, and even if you’re not subscribed, and even if you listen on another platform – this is where I’d love your review.

I would also like to thank everyone that has sponsored this podcast to cover the cost. Now, I do love interviewing people and making this podcast, but it does take a lot of time and there are costs for hosting the audio, hosting the website and editing the audio and show notes, so I really appreciate my sponsors. • Translatics
