We freelance translators and interpreters must understand and believe that we provide a highly skilled, intellectual service, and not sell ourselves short. To do that we have to always work on our language and translation skills, plus our mindset and business skills. It is useful to compare our rates to other freelance professions in the industry and charge what we’re worth. The goal for all of us is to build rewarding client relationships that elevate our own business and the translation/interpretation profession.
